Summer in the Lake District – Walla Crag, Keswick

When the need for surroundings involving less concrete and more sheep became all-consuming this past July, we took some time off and drove up to Cumbria stay with my lovely in-laws.

10 glorious days were had. 10 spectacularly restorative days without buses heaving with Summer tourists. Quiet mornings free from angry elbows digging into my ribcage as I try to squeeze on the 8:00am train into London. Tranquil afternoons. Peaceful evenings. Just clean mountain air, craft beer, and lots of green and blue.

I’ve mixed a bit of black & white as well. Hope you enjoy. x

Wonderful pictures, I love how green some of them are 🙂 May I ask what camera you used? You have a great eye for photography by the way…
