No matter where you are in the UK, you are never that far from a beach.
Living in London, surrounded by concrete and sky scrapers every day, I forget this.
Growing up in a land-locked state, the closest beach was a 7 hour drive.
It’s still magical. Every single time. Even if it’s a freezing cold England beach and there is zero chance of actually getting a tan or taking a swim!
During our weekend getaway to Cornwall, we spent a few hours in the lovely little seaside town of Looe.
We just missed the sunset…
On our drive back, we spotted a spooky looking graveyard poking out from behind some dark trees and. I loudly announced “creepy graveyard”, prompting an immediate U-turn, and drove down a narrow forest path to a errie looking church. It was almost nightfall.
Goodbye dusky cemetary!!!
Next up…The worst zoo I’ve ever been to, the most spectacular landscape in England, and parking lot ponies…
